Product Description
Use this anemometer/sensor transmitter kit only with Vantage Pro2 or Vantage Vue weather station console/receivers. The unit is solar-powered, but has secondary, backup power coming from a 3 V lithium battery or optional Vantage Pro2 AC power adapter. The kit can transmit up to 1,000 feet (line of sight) or 200 to 400 feet through walls and other obstacles to your wireless console/receiver. The transmitter can also accept signal from solar radiation, UV, temperature, and rain sensors. Take air measurement readings from a more favorable location without moving the main integrated sensor suite. Install additional sensors in different locations.
